At the age of 25, Yoko became terminally ill. The doctors gave her only half a year...
​
During this time, she came across Usui Reiki. Most of the Reiki practitioners were practicing the Western-style Usui Reiki in Japan and therefore she learnt the first and second level of Western-style Usui Reiki and started treating herself diligently... Interestingly, all through her self-healing, she did not feel any vibrations, therefore she was ready to quit Reiki... Then, six months passed. And at the age of 28 she found out that she was completely cured of the disease!

She decides to pursue counselling and returns with full zest to Usui Reiki at the age of 30. She then continues to study traditional Reiki with Hyakuten Sensei and later Doi Sensei under whom she has attuned. Doi Sensei and Hyakuten Sensei are the two leading Masters of Usui Reiki in Japan.

With the support of her masters, she found NPO Japan Reiki Assoaciation to continue to spread the universal love and light to the world.

Liz used to be a senior vice president working in an huge multinational trading corporation. At age 49 she decided to farewell to her commercial profession and begin to seek on further development on her spiritual path.
She was trained by Satoe Sasaki in NPO Japan Reiki Association Hong Kong Chapter. After 3 years of learning and continues practice of Reiki under the guidance and closer observation of Satoe sensei, she became Reiki Shihan (Reiki teacher) in 2017.
Over the period of practicing Reiki, Liz has experienced a lot of magics of this safe healing modality that brings Liz a well balance in her body energies, emotional stability and happiness which she has been sharing with her students over the years.

Javier is a passionate and dedicated Reiki teacher with a lifelong fascination for energy work and the power of Reiki to balance emotions and energize the body. After experiencing the transformative effects of Reiki firsthand, he became a NPO Japan Reiki Association certified Reiki Master/Teacher and is committed to sharing this healing modality with others.
Javier brings an innovative approach to his classes while honoring the traditional teachings of Reiki. He creates a supportive and inclusive environment where students of all backgrounds can learn and grow as practitioners. Javier is dedicated to empowering his students to tap into their own innate healing abilities and discover their unique path on their healing journey.
